Creating Cinematic experiences at home
This year has been incredibly interesting so far, I am going to keep this newsletter brief, but express what we have been up to:
To start with, we have moved into a new office in Kenilworth that we are working from. This accomodate all our admin, stock holding and workshop requirements in one premises.
With the new office comes a new contact number. After 6 years, I have finally decided to get an office phone.

In January Lionel and Kyle attended Trinnov audio training here in Cape Town, presented by the EMEA sales manager Tom Garrett and local Trinnov representative, Christiaan Beukes from Sphere Custom Design.
While Trinnov training was taking place, I visited Trinnov’s head office in Paris, it was great to meet the team behind the company including the CEO and founder, Arnaud Laborie. I can talk about the short, but informative for hours. If you are interested to know more, please don’t hesitate to ask.
In February I headed to Amsterdam to attend ISE, the largest showcase of home electronics in the world. I was one of over 88 000 people in attendance this year. It was interesting and useful to meet with our international sales reps, from Anthem AV to Bang & Olufsen, Crestron, Trinnov and Wisdom Audio, just to name a few.
In March, I travelled to Carson City in Nevada, United Sates. I am very privileged that Wisdom Audio had reached out to met to attend their dealer training academy at their head office, the two day training was incredibly informative, the Wisdom Audio speaker products are certainly suitable for us to present to our clients, so I hope that we are able to deliver and install more for our clients in the future.
The reason for this years focus on training with Trinnov and Wisdom Audio is due to their
well suited applications in Home Cinemas. We have been working with a few clients to design, and build home cinemas here in Cape Town.
If this is something that interests you, please let me know. We are able to upgrade the surround sound in any room to accomodate the new surround sound formats, most notably; Dolby Atmos.
