THE BRIEF
We have recently been carrying out some upgrades to a Bang & Olufsen installation that we manage in Franschhoek.
The Bang & Olufsen system is a MasterLink multi-zone audio system, with the Audio Master as a BeoSound 3200. The main living area features two pairs of BeoLab 3 speakers connected to the BeoSound 3200 CD player, with an outdoor deck with Boston Acoustics outdoor speakers running off of a BeoLink passive. The master suite lounge features a BeoVision 7-32 television with a pair of BeoLab 3 speakers connected. The braai deck and master en-suite bathroom both feature in-ceiling speakers powered by the BeoLink Passive amplifiers too.
The video system in the house is a Bang & Olufsen television as well as a LG television connected to a Denon surround sound AVR. Both viewing zones feature their own DSTV Explora HD decoders.
Whole house wifi is taken care of via Ubiquiti wifi access points which are powered by an Araknis POE network switch and controlled by an Araknis router for remote management.
