THE BRIEF
Ellerman House Villa Two.
With the first discussions about mirror televisions for Ellerman House starting in March 2012 it was clear that this was going to be a very special project requiring a suitably tailored solution. The client had decided on his requirements from a very early stage, so working along side Christiaan Beukes from Sphere Custom Design and architect Michael Dennet we knew this mirror television was going to fit right in.
High definition video is supplied to the television by a Crestron video matrix.
To accomplish the perfect visual integration Angus Taylor sculpted the Hemitite cladding surrounding the mirror television over 3 months. This finish resulting in a 65″ ad notam mirror television that when switched off blends in seamlessly.
