THE BRIEF
This year has started off far busier than expected. Daily I have been in either back to back site visits and meetings to quote clients on upgrades to their existing systems. Or I have been working with a team of subcontractors to ensure delivery of installations to my clients before my new technical director joins the company.
A great first installation to complete for the year is this installation of a whole house wifi system for this 6 bedroom house in Camps Bay.
The biggest challenge was finding a suitable route for the fibre to an appropriate location for the equipment. Unfortunately when the fibre installation team installed the fibre for the homeowner they simply installed the fibre to the first room closest to the fibre entry to the property.
Next was re-wiring the entire house to accomodate 3 Ubiquti Wifi Access Points and a new Unifi POE switch.
A big thanks to the incredibly talented Fibre team that I use for all my fibre extension and splicing work, an installation like this would not have been possible without them!
