THE BRIEF
We have carried out the upgrade of our clients television system for her in Franschhoek by installing a new Samsung 55″ QLED television.
The original Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 7-32 television that was installed previously had served our client well since 2007, but it was time to move onto a new high definition television.
Our television upgrade included new cabling to the television, we achieved this by installing new conduits externally and routing the high definition cabling to the television. This is a great way to hide all cabling required for the television.
The DSTV decoder is hidden in a timber box to the left of the television and high definition video is carried to the television over HDAnywhere HDMI over CAT6 extenders. This enables the DSTV decoder to be controlled while hidden in the box.
As always, we have used a Vogels flush mount television bracket for hanging the television on the wall. Vogels television wall brackets are our trusted wall brackets.
While we carried out the installation, we serviced the Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 3200 CD player and BeoLab 8000 speakers. This service included installing new power cabling to the speakers and re-terminating the speaker connection at the BeoSound 3200.
Our total installation and service time was 10 hours, with a very happy customer at the end of our time with her.
